EPC Integrator Inc. becomes a member of EPCglobal

October, 2004 - EPC Integrator Inc. has announced today that it had teamed up with EPCglobal Inc, the RFID Global Standard Organization. EPCglobal Inc. is a joint venture between EAN International and the Uniform Code Council (UCC) and is governed by the EPCglobal Board of Governors. EPCglobal Inc is a not-for-profit organization entrusted by industry to establish and support the Electronic Product Code (EPC) Network as the global standard for immediate, automatic, and accurate identification of any item in the supply chain of any company, in any industry, anywhere in the world with an objective to drive global adoption of the EPCglobal Network.

By participating in the early stages of creating global standards, we intend to step up our core competencies in fulfilling the needs of the industry to implement RFID solutions. We are closely involved with the Software Action Group in understanding the standards for the EPC network said a spokesperson today for the company in Hamden, Connecticut
