Supply Insight has brought together a team of talented and dedicated individuals to do the job. It keeps adding the right people as it expands its business. :: Uday Shankar, Founder and President Mr. Shankar founded Supply Insight Inc. in 2004 with the vision of improving the supply chain systems using RFID technology. Shankar served on the Board of Directors of privately held companies in India. Prior to Supply Insight, Shankar was one of the Directors of Engineering for a business process integration company primarily handling customer relations, services and quality assurance. Shankar has also served in industry's leading consulting companies such as Kanbay and Infosys, executing multiple projects for Fortune 100 companies. Shankar is pursuing an MBA with Bakers College, Michigan. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. :: Bikash Behera, Chief Technical Advisor Mr. Behera founded Supply Insight in 2004 along with Uday Shankar. Behera brings more than 10 years experience building integration products and finance applications. Prior to co-founding Supply Insight, Behera was an Architect at Metaserver Inc., an integration product company. He has considerable experience architecting finance applications for Wall Street firms including NASDAQ, Bank of America and Thomson Financials. Behera holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from REC, Warangal, India. :: Tim Connelly, Executive Vice President Sales Tim Connelly brings over 20 years of experience in the valuation, consulting and business development of fixed asset management services. He has been involved in two of the Big Four accounting firms including an executive leadership role with Andersen’s property services group. Most recently, he was a director with Asset Management Resources, a leader in Fixed Assets Inventory and Reconciliation services. :: Vishweshwara Upadhyaya, Managing Director, Offshore Operations Mr. Upadhyaya is the Founder President of Infonics Inc., an Illinois based software consulting company with its development center in Bangalore, India. Upadhyaya is based in Bangalore and has been closly involved in diverse aspects of information technology consulting business for more than fifteen years, both in the U.S. and India. At Infonics, Upadhyaya was instrumental in establishing client relationship with large organizations like IBM Global Services, GE Appliances. Prior to Infonics, at Kanbay, Upadhyaya was involved in establishing the offshore development center for Household International. Upadhyaya also worked as a project manager at Infosys and Data Capture Services. Upadhyaya possesses a Master's degree in Business Management from J. L. Kellogg School of Management, Evanston, Illinois. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the Bangalore University. :: Dr. Sampath Kumar Ph.D, Healthcare Consultant Dr. Kumar is a Senior Research Scientist at CuraGen Corporation, a biopharmaceutical company. He earned his Ph.D. in Biology from the National University of Singapore, Republic of Singapore, and has conducted several years of post-doctoral research at the University of Western Ontario, Canada, and the University of Maryland Biotechnology Institute, Maryland. Dr. Kumar consults with Supply Insight in the capacity of a pharmaceutical expert. He plays an important role in identifying and leading RFID business oppurtunities in the pharmaceutical world. :: Vasanth Velusamy, Software Architect Mr. Velusamy brings to the founding team, a strong technical background. He has a Masters in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering at Anna University, Tamil Nadu, India. Prior to co-founding Supply Insight, Velusamy worked as a software engineer for Metaserver Inc., an integration product development company. With his sound technical background and integration experience, Velusamy brings to the team the dynamism and vision for product development. |
